Join the Wilkinson Public Library and many local collaborators in celebrating Earth Day together!
Are you looking for ways to get involved in our regional efforts against climate change? Do you love learning about local resources and spaces where you can take ecological actions? Are you curious about what's going on locally to save our rivers, our soil, our air, and more? Come join us for this open-house style party on Earth Day! There will be:
-Free seeds!
-plastic film upcycling provided by EcoAction Partners- bring your plastics! Information here on what kind of plastics to bring!
-A chance to vote on what gets planted in the library's community garden
-A Mend-A-Thon table (bring one garment that you need to mend or patch, and we'll have supplies and volunteers on hand to help!)
-A plant cutting swap (have some indoor plants that need to be pruned? Nab some cuttings off of them and come trade for other folks' free plant cuttings!)
-Tables and resources provided by Eco-Action Partners, Sheep Mountain Alliance, the Ecology Commission, the CSU Extension Office, and more!
-Sustainable snacks
-And a drop-in activity for kids in the youth area, so all ages are invited.
Come celebrate Earth Day with our community!
