San Miguel Watershed Coalition, Sheep Mountain Alliance, and the Wilkinson Public Library welcome Rory Cowie, PhD, for an in-person chat about the state of our watershed. Dr. Cowie is the owner of Alpine Water Resources and focuses on understanding surface water and groundwater interactions in natural and human altered environments.
Hailing from Silverton, CO, Dr. Cowie is excited to share his in depth knowledge on water in the San Juans, and how our region's beavers and our interactions with them provide ecosystem restoration.
